Most families invest between $800 and $2500 for senior photos, depending on the artwork and digital files they choose. The session fee is $295, which includes planning and preparation. After your session, you can select from a range of digital and print collections, including albums, wall art, and gift prints.

Sessions can take place in my Redwood City studio or at a favorite outdoor location. I can help you select one of the beautiful outdoor locations that the San Francisco Peninsula offers. Some of my favorites: Fitzgerald Marine Reserve in Moss Beach, Elizabeth Gamble Garden in Palo Alto, and Pulgas Water Temple in Redwood City.

Most sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes but I don’t put a time limit on them. This allows time for outfit changes, multiple looks, and a relaxed pace so you never feel rushed.

In addition to multiple outfits, bring something that reflects who you are and what you like to do (sports equipment and jersey, an instrument, your school jacket, and so on).

Yes—I’ll guide you every step of the way so you look natural, confident, and like yourself. Most people take 10 or 15 minutes to get comfortable in front of the camera. There’s no time limit to our session, so we can take the time to chat, to relax, and have a bit of fun. I’ll coach you on posing and facial expressions, so you won’t have to worry about the results. My clients frequently tell me that their sessions were a lot more fun than they expected.

Definitely. “Props” that reflect who you are and what you love—sports gear, jerseys, musical instruments, other hobbies—add meaning and make your portraits uniquely yours. Plus they can help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera.

It’s best to schedule 2–3 months before graduation or your yearbook deadline. Fall sessions are very popular, so booking early ensures that you get your preferred date.
